The socks I am working on right now

A plain ol’ pair of socks. I gotta get working on more socks for me, since some of the first ones I ever knit for myself over 4 years ago are starting to wear thin in spots.

Personal knitting challenge – knit 5 pairs of socks in two months!

This is the first sock in an adventure I hope to complete successfully. I’ve decided to make a pair of socks for each one of my bridesmaids. The wedding is September 24th. I completed the very first sock – not the first pair, just the first sock, this Monday, July 18th. Can I do it? I think so, it just depends on if I keep my motivation.

Details for this first pair of socks:
Pattern: Waterfall Socks by Wendy of Wendy Knits
Yarn: Knitpicks Stroll Tonal in colorway “Summer Blooms”
Needles: Size 0 Susan Bates bamboo double pointed needles, but on the second sock I’m trying the socks on two circulars method with some Addi Turbos.

At first I was going to knit all the socks in the same pattern, but I think that for my sanity and to increase the chances of my completing all the gifts, I’m going to pick a different pattern for each pair. I’m notorious for promising knitted items to people and then taking over a year (or three) to complete them.
